During the spring & summer months, the famous Ospreys can be found in the wildlife reserve, and interactive exhibits tell the fascinating story of these creatures. Over the winter, ducks, geese, red squirrels, fallow deer and nuthatches can be spotted. As Loch of The Lowes Visitor Centre is just a short drive from Dalnoid Cottages And Treehouses, it is the perfect family trip on a visit to Scotland.

The Ospreys are the star attraction, with a pair of breeding Ospreys returning to Loch of the Lowes every year for summer. This wildlife reserve has played a hugely important role in Osprey breeding in the UK after they were driven to extinction in the country back in the 19 th century.
